After a string of success for FGL, Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard decided to host a little get together at their house on Nashville 3rd Avenue this past Saturday to celebrate their recent triumph and to give a toast to their songwriters for putting together three No. 1 for the group. The singles – “H. O. L. Y.,” “May We All” and “God, Your Mama and Me” all reached number one at one point in time. It seemed to be quite the party, as a couple hundred people turned out.
The songwriters that were recognized were Nate Cyphert, William Wiik Larsen, Rodney Clawson, Jamie Moore, Hillary Lindsey, Josh Kerr and Gordie Simpson. FGL also raised their glass to their latest collaborators, Bebe Rexha and Backstreet Boys.
Were you wondering what they all had at the party? Well, for drinks they mimosas and the food was plentiful; muffins, cakes, cookies, fruit, yogurt, and trays of cheese and deviled eggs circulated around the room. Gee, where was my invite FGL? Regardless of the sheer disappointment, I will still continue to listen to your music.
