  • BITS AND PIECES

James Otto's new CD will be called Shake What God Gave Ya. The CD will be in stores on September 14th. The 12-track project includes James' current single, "Groovy Little Summer Song." It also features a collaboration with Ronnie Milsap, one of his musical heroes.

  • LADY A PUTS NEW TWIST ON LEE BRICE'S 'LOVE LIKE CRAZY'

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, than Lee Brice is feeling pretty good about himself right now. His Top 10 hit, "Love Like Crazy," was singled out by Lady Antebellum in yesterday's (Wednesday, July 28th) Wednesday Webisode. The group did make a lyric change, though, making it a love song to biscuits and gravy and the gastronomic marvels of the Waffle House menu.

Lee said, "This is really funny, and I am honored that Lady A decided to tackle my song. I understand that mine is the second song they've spoofed and only two songs in, they've perfected the craft. Hey guys, how about a writing session in the next few weeks?"

"Love Like Crazy" spends its 48th week on the charts this week, making it one of only four titles to spend at least 48 weeks on the Billboard Country Songs chart in the magazine's 66-year history.

  • REBA ENJOYING CAREER NOW MORE THAN EVER

She's 34 years into her career, and Reba says that this is the best time in her life! The superstar has pretty much done it all, but these days she tells us she has learned to relax and enjoy every aspect of her work. "I'm havin' a blast at this time and point in my career, and it is so much fun! I think I'm enjoyin' it more now than I ever have. I'm not sweatin' it. I'm not stressin' out about it. I love lookin' for songs. I love listenin' to the demo tapes. I love writing with different people, gettin' ready for the new album. I love to go on the road."

Reba and her husband and manager, Narvel Blackstock, spend a good portion of their time on a tour bus going from show to show, but they definitely know when to put on the brakes. "Narvel and I have so much fun out on the road touring, and then when we're gettin' a little bit tired and we need to recharge our batteries, we take off and go see the world and do a little vacation, so this is a wonderful time in my life and I'm havin' a blast!"

Reba will perform a series of headlining shows beginning on August 19th in Saint Leonard, Maryland.

She will re-join George Strait on the road on September 9th in Columbus, Ohio.

Reba's new single, "Turn On The Radio," is making its way up the country charts.

The song is the lead single from her upcoming untitled album, which will be released on November 9th.

  • MIRANDA LAMBERT TO FESTIVAL GOERS: 'PACE YOURSELVES'

Miranda Lambert is in the middle of playing a bunch of fairs and festivals around the country. Having played this circuit countless times in the past several years, Miranda has some words of wisdom for fans taking in these popular day-long summer shows. She tells us: "From my own personal experience, I think if you atleast wait til noon to start drinkin' you'll last a lot more, cause we get to go on at night time this time at a lot of these festivals, which I'm thrilled about, but half the time people are just like, 'Uhhhh,' and they're just half passed out drunk from all day of hearing great music and just drinking beer, being in the sun, so pace yourselves cause we're comin' out, buddy! (laughs)".)

Miranda takes the stage tonight (Thursday, July 29th) in Cheyenne, Wyoming at the city's Cheyenne Frontier Days.

Her new single, "Only Prettier," is making its climb up the country charts.

The song's video features appearances by Laura Bell Bundy, Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott and Kellie Pickler.
